We’re incredibly excited to share some fantastic news from the team at Klearway Junk – we’ve been shortlisted for the Green Champion Award at the Glasgow Business Awards 2026!

Being recognised among Glasgow’s businesses for our commitment to responsible waste removal and recycling is a huge achievement for our team, and one that we’re extremely proud of.

The Glasgow Business Awards, hosted by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Virgin Money, celebrate the achievements, innovation and leadership of Glasgow’s business community. The 2026 awards recognise businesses making a real difference across areas including sustainability, innovation, technology, workplace culture and community development.

The Green Champion Award, sponsored by ScottishPower, recognises organisations that demonstrate strong environmental leadership and make sustainability part of their everyday operations.

For Klearway Junk, this recognition means a great deal.

As a Glasgow-based waste removal company, we understand that what happens to unwanted items after they leave a home, garden or business matters. We don’t simply want to remove waste quickly – we want to make sure as much of it as possible is handled responsibly.

The winners of the Glasgow Business Awards 2026 will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 1 October 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.

Whatever happens on the night, reaching the shortlist is already a fantastic milestone for Klearway Junk.
